[man speaking chinese] / COUCH

My thoughts are turned towards the Gulf Coast and the people there, it's hard not to think about places you've been, or people you know. I am reminded as I am about to go play a show with Hallelujah! that our new member (shut up) Joe was once in another band called [man speaking chinese] with Dave who moved with Stephanie to Texas. I'm sure since they are in Dallas they are fairing better than alot of places closer to shore. I more worry about how they are dealing with the social changes that will undoubtedly be headed their way, and all of our ways as well in the coming months (or perhaps years). [man speaking chinese] turned out to be one of my favorite bands of 2005 I think, simply because they didn't really choose to have a band really, they were just some people who jammed together and liked to record themselves, but they ended up playing some really cool live shows with us, and we became good friends. "Docu-rock" is it's best discription with some really cool slide shows and filmwork. They sorta have a Neu! type of sound. Anyhow...
