I can't believe it took me so long to discover this band. I think I remember Matt Frith (R.I.P.) trying to tell me how good this band was and I think I remember hearing some of it when I went over to his house.Matt Frith was a druggie, he died a druggie.He was the atypical hippie, but then he was more than that.The guy was well read on what he was getting into, and he would talk all day about it if you let him.Sometimes it got on my nerves, but then sometimes I let him and he would turn me on to Gong and Can and Hawkwind.That was quite a few years back, and I never paid attention to it then, I guess I'm just now catching up really.If you'd like to know more about the history of this freaked out band you can go here.Listen to Gong - The Pothead Pixies
